With weddings, the sky's the limit....

by indy09bride

My mom did a wedding for another close family friend last year that was $6000. She hardly covered her costs. That was for a bridal party about the same size and 35 amazing centerpieces, plus other decorative touches for the entry, pews, altar, bar, and escort table. She even had flowers in the bathroom. I can't imagine what it would have been if it hadn't been at cost, or if she was some high-couture designer who could charge for their name. It can definitely get higher.

Multiple level centerpieces

This pic works. BUT u said oval(S). not just one.
I see this model as the short centerpieces on the wedding party table, and the tall ones on everyone else's table. Which works.
But again, u said oval(S), meaning more than one, so unless u find a way to alternate oval, round, oval, round. I can't think of a good way to do it. Unless space is no issue.
I'd still consider renting round tables.

I dont have a wedding party

just my FH, daughter and me.
I am making my bouquet out of the flowers that we get for the tables.
We are doing centerpieces out of herb plants that the guests can take home and then a few mason jars of flowers.
We are only needing a few mason jars of flowers per table.
something like these

If it is a fancy venue, then it may be appropriate to have a black-tie event, but if it is a casual venue, it is not necessary to wear something so fancy as a ball-gown or a tuxedo.
